  • 5.0 out of 5 stars from Kimber C. Turner, author of Freight Dog and Learjets and Layovers -- General aviation shared like it was meant to be. : Not everyone can fly and not everyone can tell a story. Captain Theodore Kissel can do both very well. I have known, flown with and learned from Ted Kissel for over 35 years. He was my simulator instructor when I upgraded to Captain on the Boeing 727. Often after a simulator session, during our "debriefing" over a cold beverage, he would regale the crew he had been instructing with some of his stories. We constantly told him he should write a book and thankfully now he has. You're welcome. As a pilot I can tell you Ted is a true professional. As an author I have to admit that I am a little jealous of the way Ted can so entertainingly weave humor and detail into such a captivating story. You are going to like this one. • 5.0 out of 5 stars from RK -- Awesome book!!!! : Ted Kissel hired me as a charter pilot in the early 80’s, a short time after the events in THE SNOW GLOBE take place. I had yet to reach my 20th birthday. Ted is equal parts mentor and friend; a larger than life character to whom countless aviators owe an un-payable debt. Under Ted’s watchful eye most of us graduated to profitable airline careers and had one hell of a great time along the way. ( Reviewed in the United States on November 3, 2021 )
